For all appointments and to request information please call (304) 252-6396 Ext. 118
In the struggle to achieve economic and social self sufficiency, many individuals have to learn tough life lessons the hard way. People with very little personal experience in everyday tasks, such as developing a household budget, stand to benefit from guidance in these matters.
Each year, RCCAA offers a series of educational sessions on a number of practical ‘life-skills’. Last year’s sessions covered a range of issues such as:
- Budgeting 101
- How To Save Money Using Coupons
- Weekly Menu Planning
- Simple and Healthy Snacks
- Family Fun
- Resume Building
- Job Interview Preparation
- Disaster Preparedness
Remember that Raleigh County Community Action Association is not just here to help you get back on your feet, but also to make sure you STAY THERE! Our Self Sufficiency programs are aimed at teaching you and your family how to gain and maintain social independence.
