The Raleigh County Community Action Association (RCCAA) provides public transportation services in Raleigh and Fayette County through a contractual arrangement with the New River Transit Authority (NRTA).

Specific information on schedules and fares for available general and special transportation services may obtained by contacting the NRTA/RCCAA at (304) 894-8917 or newrivertransitauthority.org.

Our priority is to support the NRTA in the provision of local and regional transportation opportunities for area residents by providing safe and efficient transit services.

Contract with Transportation

RCCAA provides limited contract transportation services in Raleigh County and other destinations in the immediate area for local organizations and groups. Specific information on rates and terms for contract transportation may be obtained by contacting the Transportation Director, RCCAA at (304) 894-8917. Title VI Notice to the Public

RCCAA operates the NRTA public transportation program without regard to race, color, national origin, income status, sex, age or disability in accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act requires that no person in the United States shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.

Any person who believes that he or she has been subjected to discrimination under Title VI on the basis of race, color or national origin may file a Title VI complaint with NRTA within 180 days from the date of the alleged discrimination. Anyone who believes he or she has been subjected to an unlawful discriminatory practice addressed by Title VI may file a complaint expressing the by filling out the Title VI Complaint Form in using one of the following methods:
